The artist’s inspiration for this paper mosaic collage is from a marble bust of a roman emperor, in the St. Petersburg Fine Art Museum.

Upon inspection, the viewer is drawn in for a closer look of the many symbolic references to war & society, located throughout the art work. A woman’s head is part of the man's eye. This symbolizes if men were to look through the eyes of a woman, especially a mother’s eye, there would be less war in the world.

The right eye is a clock to represent the history of mankind. The 3 fish symbolized organized religion. How many people have been killed gerneration after generation and their deaths justified in the name of their God?

A professional grade, two component Urethane clear coat, is used as a final finish on all paper mosaic and mixed media collages. This glossy, non- yellowing, clear coating has a special UV formula which protects the artwork from ever fading.
