"Hanging with Abe "

“Hanging With Abe” The artist’s inspiration for this 6” x 9” mixed media collage came from a recent dream she had about running into President Abraham Lincoln at a party. President Lincoln was dressed in modern casual attire and had a small circle of people surrounding him.

When Raven Skye joined the circle, President Lincoln looked her directly in the eye and was amused that Raven was tall enough to do this. President Lincoln and Raven started chatting up a storm and as it happens in dreams, She didn’t remember what they talked about when she awoke.
